Well folks, good news. I found out yesterday that my 2nd story submitted for the upcoming volume of The Crimson Pact, The Merging, will be included in the work. This is very exciting to me. I initially turned in 10,000 words, but I think through the rigorous editing process it will cross the finishing line somewhere short of that.
I thought the first volume was an excellent compilation of stories, and this book stands to be even better.
For those of you who have asked The Merging is indeed a continuation of the story I had written in the first anthology, The Transition. The first story was really written in such a way as to create interest in the rest of the story, which I tell in vol. 2. The story follows Sloan Boyle in the aftermath of the event described in the previous story, and continues his plunge into the world of the demons, and the pact.
